Barloworld Agriculture has been taking the replacement parts market head on following drastic reductions in the price of genuine AGCO parts for Massey Ferguson across a broad spectrum – in some instances by more than 70%.
“The price cuts, which followed a comprehensive competitive price analysis by Barloworld Agriculture, lower owners’ total cost of ownership and also reduce the cost of our service plans for tractors, combine harvesters, self-propelled sprayers and planters,” says Willie Stander, Barloworld Agriculture GM for Parts. The cuts have been rolled out since late last year.
The price study involved a basket of genuine parts including service parts as well as other general parts such as drive belts, starter motors, fuel injectors, turbo chargers, and more. Price reductions apply to a range of products, including Massey tractors (MF 400 Xtra, MF 5400, MF 7600, MF 8600) and Massey Ferguson conventional, widespan and no-till planters.
“We’re proud of our product range and the difference our machines are making by delivering reliable, cost-efficient performance,” says Stander. “With initiatives such as these, as well as 24/7 availability of AGCO parts, we strive to add further value and be a success factor in the operations of farmers and contractors countrywide.”
