Building on the inroads it is making in the local high-tech tractor market, Massey Ferguson distributor Barloworld Agriculture has added a new flagship to its high-specification MF 7600 series. The latest addition increases the series from six to seven models ranging from 96kW to 177kW.
The MF 7600 series combines intelligent technology with straightforward, rugged construction to boost productivity and save fuel. It won Tractor of the Year award at Agritechnica in 2012.
The 177kW MF 7626 features a powerful four-cylinder AGCO Power engine combined with Massey Ferguson’s proven Dyna-6 transmission to boost performance and fuel efficiency, thereby reducing cost of ownership. Dyna-6 MF7600 tractors come with Engine Power Management for extra power delivery in more demanding applications while Dynamic Tractor Management automatically adjusts the engine speed according to load to optimise fuel economy. High power and torque at low rpm ensure high performance, with the torque of 1 040Nm automatically increasing to 1 145Nm when required.
The tractor is available in a row crop configuration and with a Quick Hitch, allowing the operator to hook an implement fast and efficiently from the cab. It offers a lifting capacity of up to 9 300kg for tough, heavy-duty applications.
With a view to precision farming, It is AGCOMMAND telemetry and Autoguide ready.
